Cookie Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
This policy explains what cookies and equivalent technologies we use on the website arofashionai.com and what information we store on your device from the FashionAI mobile app.
1. What they are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. There are equivalent technologies that fulfil the same function — localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, device identifiers or SDKs integrated into an app — and for the purposes of this policy they receive the same treatment.
The law only requires your consent for those that are not strictly necessary to provide the service you requested.
2. On the arofashionai.com website
The website is informational: it presents the app, publishes this legal information and provides a way to contact us and request deletion of your account.
We do not use analytics, advertising, audience measurement or cross-site tracking cookies. Nor do we load pixels or social media or third-party scripts for that purpose.
The only technologies that may be involved are strictly necessary:
| Technology | Purpose | Controller | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Technical session and hosting security cookies | Serve pages, distribute load and protect against abuse | Our hosting provider | Browsing session |
Because we do not use non-essential technologies, we do not display a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. If in future we add analytics, advertising, non-essential measurement or any third-party SDK, we will first implement a preferences panel with Accept, Reject and Configure options at the same level of visual accessibility, and nothing will be activated before you consent.
You may also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not prevent you from browsing this site.
3. In the mobile app
The app does not use browser cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. To function, it stores information in your device's local storage:
| What is stored | Purpose | Is it necessary? |
|---|---|---|
| Your login session | To keep you signed in without re-entering your password | Yes |
| Local copy of your profile and wardrobe | So the app opens instantly and works with intermittent connectivity | Yes |
| App preferences and onboarding state | To remember your settings and avoid repeating tutorials | Yes |
| Push notification identifier | To send you the Morning Briefing at the time you set | Only if you enable notifications |
In addition, the app integrates third-party components necessary to provide the service, which may access device identifiers:
| Component | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Authentication and database (Supabase) | Sign in and store your data |
| Notifications (Expo and Firebase Cloud Messaging) | Deliver the Morning Briefing alert |
| In-app purchases (Apple App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat) | Process and validate your subscription |
We do not integrate advertising, campaign attribution or behavioural analytics SDKs, and we do not use the device's advertising identifier.
You can delete all local storage from your operating system settings or by signing out. If you do, you will need to sign in again and some preferences will be reset.
4. Changes
If we change the technologies we use, we will update this policy and — if non-essential technologies are introduced — we will request your consent before activating them.
5. More information
The processing of your personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy. For any questions: [email protected].
